About Me: In addition to my current full-time career in tourism
marketing and promotion, I have put out my own shingle offering freelance
copywriting services on a part-time basis. I look forward to consulting on your next project.

I graduated from Syracuse University's S.I. Newhouse
School of Public Communications, majoring in Television, Radio and Film
Production.

I have over 18 years experience in communications,
public/governmental relations, and tourism marketing and promotion.

I have experience writing and editing brochures,
newsletters, press releases, news articles, travel guides, websites, print ads
and advertorial, sales pitches, and requests for proposals. I have also
written treatments, scripts and script outlines for television and radio
commercials, and for video projects.

I am a member of the Public Relations Society of
America (PRSA), and serve as webmaster for my local chapter. As part of my
tourism promotion duties, I have been an associate member of the Travel Media
Association of Canada, and supporting member of the New York State Outdoor
Writers Association and Pennsylvania Outdoor Writers Association. I am
President of the New York State Travel & Vacation Association, and as
such also serve on the board for the Tourism Industry Coalition.

I am currently employed as an advertising and
communications coordinator for a statewide association of private campground
owners.

I spent six GREAT years as a volunteer EMT/Firefighter.
I may have actually saved a life or two.

I'm married to a veteran of the United States Army,
and we have a sweet dog and dictatorial cat.
